Sometimes we get caught up in all the bad things hovering around and why things aren’t working out the way we calculated, that we forget to notice all the good in our lives. I am unfortunately guilty as charged. I get so caught up in the “whys” and “why nots” that I forget to take a minute to be grateful for the fact that I get to spend every day with the love of my life while on an adventure of a lifetime — living and working abroad. And, sometimes I need to remind myself that the choices I made, everything I left behind (career, way of life, family, friends) was all for a very targeted purpose – for LOVE. I left behind a life centered around an 80-hour work week for something so much more. This was the choice I made, and even though things aren’t perfect, they never will be, we are moving in the right direction to the life we have always wanted – one filled with hope, opportunity, adventure, learning and most importantly, love.
