Faith

Recently, I wrote a guest blog post around faith for Chocolate Gringa’s blog, you can find the full post here if you’d like to read.

Essentially, the post centered around when you are living abroad, you have two choices

  1. You can give up, or
  2. You can give it all you got.

Giving it all you got takes a lot of strength, patience, and more importantly, faith. Faith that even though things are difficult, and you might not be at the the place in your life where you’d thought you’d be… that things WILL be better, and that you are exactly where you are meant to be.. for better or for worse… learning, living, loving and amassing more life experience than you ever thought you’d get.

So, don’t avoid the risks, TAKE THEM. It’s what adds adventure, color and experience to your life. And when it comes to love, don’t hold anything back. It’s what makes your life worth living.

Just remember, “everything will be alright in the end, so if it is not alright, it is not yet the end.”

I recently wrote a blog post about faith on my other blog, Life Sans Borders. That site is more focused around living life in a cross-cultural marriage, and dealing with all the fun and exciting things like travel, family, culture and traditions and the not-so-fun things like immigration that go along with it. Anyway, I got to thinking that faith that everything will be OK in the end, can also be applied to your fitness routine. Don’t give up… EVER. Don’t avoid the risks, TAKE THEM. Don’t hold back, give it ALL YOU GOT. Your body, your life, your relationships will thank you.
